Every bespoke jewelry project has three stages: consultation, stone selection, and design & creation. The timeline for each step varies based on the complexity of the piece and your responsiveness, but most projects take approximately 8-12 weeks from our initial consultation.
Please note that all projects require a $200 non-refundable deposit towards your final payment after the initial consultation.
Step One: Consultation
All projects will start with a 30-minute initial consultation, free of charge.
In this call, we will discuss your vision for the piece and any expectations that you may have. Typically, we leave the conversation understanding stone preferences, a general design idea, and the budget.
Next, you will receive a cost estimation for the final project. While I try to be as close to the actual cost of the piece as possible, it is important to keep in mind that the precious metal and gemstone markets are constantly fluctuating and could affect the final price.

Step Two: stone selection
In the stone selection stage, I will pull a selection of stones from our initial conversation and walk you through the different options. If diamonds are included in the piece, we will discuss the “4 C’s” and understand which of these “C’s” is the most important to you!
By the end of this stage, we will reserve the stone(s) selected* and have an idea of what we want the design of the piece to look like.
While most projects are completed virtually, I offer in-person consultations for center stone selection upon request, available for an additional fee.
*Larger stones are subject to an additional deposit to be held during the design stage.
Step three: Design and creation
Once the stone is decided on, we will articulate your design ideas and specifications to a designer who will turn your idea into a computer rendering of the piece specific to the stone that you chose. Once the drawing is approved, the piece will go into production.
While each design takes a different amount of time to complete, I will send you updates along the way and ensure that you have your piece before the occasion!
A quick note on shipping: I can ship anywhere in the US! I will ensure that I see the final piece and send you a video of it before sending it off.
Final payment is due before the shipping label can be created.
